1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the StarChat mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TOWERSTAR NETWORK CO., LTD ("we," "our," or "us").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any updates or modifications we may make.

2. Description of Service

StarChat is an AI-powered tarot reading application that provides personalized guidance through four unique AI guides: Astra, Seraphina, Altair, and Elian. Each guide offers distinct perspectives on life, relationships, career, and personal growth.

The App provides features including daily tarot readings, personalized conversations with AI guides, memory-based continuity across sessions, and customized insights for entertainment and personal reflection purposes.

4. Subscription Terms

StarChat offers optional premium features through subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

• Billing: All subscriptions are processed and billed through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
• Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, you may cancel before the trial period ends to avoid charges. Failure to cancel will result in automatic conversion to a paid subscription.

Subscription pricing may vary by region and is subject to change with notice. Changes will not affect active subscriptions until renewal.

5. User Conduct (Acceptable Use)

By using StarChat, you agree to use the App responsibly and in accordance with these guidelines:

• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App or its systems
• Do not share your account access, API keys, or subscription benefits with others
• Respect the entertainment nature of the content and do not misrepresent readings as professional advice
• Do not use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Do not attempt to access features or content you have not paid for

Violation of these conduct guidelines may result in termination of your access to the App without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the StarChat App, including but not limited to the app design, software code, tarot card imagery, AI guide personalities, user interface, graphics, and generated content, are the exclusive property of TOWERSTAR NETWORK CO., LTD or our licensors.

• Personal Use Only: Tarot card imagery and AI-generated readings are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.
• No Reproduction: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from the App without our express written permission.
• Trademarks: "StarChat" and our logo are trademarks of TOWERSTAR NETWORK CO., LTD. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Your conversations and personal data stored locally on your device remain your property, subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• No Warranties: We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the content, readings, or AI-generated guidance provided through the App.
• Decisions and Consequences: We are not liable for any decisions you make based on tarot readings, AI guidance, or content from the App. You acknowledge sole responsibility for your decisions and actions.
• Technical Issues: We are not liable for technical problems, service interruptions, data loss, device compatibility issues, or any damages resulting from use or inability to use the App.
• Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the total amount of subscription fees you have paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Termination

Our Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct we deem harmful to the App or other users.

Your Right to Terminate: You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device and canceling any active subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all data stored locally on your device will remain on your device unless you manually delete it. Active subscriptions will continue until the end of the current billing period unless you request a refund from Apple.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China (Mainland China), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the People's Republic of China.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the App.
