TOWERSTAR NETWORK CO., LTD ("we," "our," or "us") operates the StarChat mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. StarChat is designed with privacy-first principles, storing your personal data locally on your device and minimizing data collection.

Data We Collect

StarChat is designed to keep your data private and secure. The following information is stored locally on your device:

• Conversations: All tarot reading conversations with your AI guides are stored on your device and never sent to our servers.
• Memories: Personalized context and journey history are stored locally to provide continuity across sessions.
• User Preferences: App settings, theme preferences, and guide selections are stored on your device.
• API Keys: Your OpenRouter API key is securely stored in your device's Keychain and never transmitted to our servers.

How We Use Your Data

We use the data stored on your device to:

• Provide personalized tarot readings based on your conversation history
• Remember your journey and provide contextual guidance across sessions
• Improve your experience with customized features and preferences

We do not: Sell your data, use it for advertising purposes, or share it with third parties for marketing.

Third-Party Services (OpenRouter)

StarChat uses OpenRouter to facilitate AI-powered tarot readings. When you interact with your AI guides:

• Your messages are sent directly to OpenRouter's API using your personal API key
• OpenRouter processes your messages to generate AI responses
• OpenRouter is GDPR-compliant and follows strict data protection standards
• We recommend reviewing OpenRouter's privacy policy at openrouter.ai/privacy

TOWERSTAR NETWORK does not have access to your OpenRouter API key or the content of your conversations sent to OpenRouter.

Data Storage & Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• On-Device Storage: All conversations and memories remain on your device, protected by your device's security features.
• Keychain Protection: API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain with encryption.
• Encrypted Transmission: All network communications use TLS 1.3 encryption.

You maintain full control over your data. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data from your device.

Your Rights (GDPR Compliance)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under GDPR:

• Right to Access: You can view all your data within the App at any time.
• Right to Deletion: You can delete your conversations, memories, and all data by clearing app data or uninstalling the App.
• Right to Data Portability: You can export your conversation history within the App.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control and direct access to exercise these rights without needing to contact us.

Children's Privacy

StarChat is rated 12+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 12. If you believe a child under 12 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@towerstarchat.com so we can take appropriate action.

Subscription Information

StarChat offers optional premium features through subscription:

• All subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store
• Payment information is handled exclusively by Apple; we do not store your payment details
• Subscription status is managed through your Apple ID account settings
• Refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information on how Apple handles your payment data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
